I was very pleased to have a company seeking an AIM listing and IPO contact us recently (and we’ll be presenting to them next week) having seen our details in your AIM Rankings guide.
Having been involved in numerous flotations over the past few years the Team has found the Corporate Advisers Rankings Guide very useful in appointing advisers to the Company and to assist us in current matters would appreciate to receive a recent copy.
The AIM Advisers Ranking Guide has been a useful tool while we have been considering our options for going on to AIM. It has allowed us to pinpoint those advisers that would be a good fit for our company, size and sector.
This is the second time that I have employed the rankings in this manner, the previous occasion being when, as Chief Financial Officer of Volex plc, we selected new joint brokers, and on both occasions your services have been instrumental in helping to shape our thinking.
I think I saw a paper version of the documents some years a-go in a previous business, and I want to use it to see which audit firms do what in the main market and AIM spaces, with a view to potentially doing a tender process later in the year.
The quarterly AIM adviser rankings guide provides invaluable insight into the adviser network and has helped our company to select a more appropriate team of advisers as we have grown.
I currently receive your guides in my role as Executive Chairman of Regal Petroleum plc. However, I am also on the Board of two LSE listed Indian based power generation companies (one as Chairman the other as NED) who, as a result of growth, are both considering changing/adding their financial advisers/brokers. They have asked for my views on the matter, which is why I referred to your comprehensive guides.
Yes I use the report in selecting advisers, and also to see how my advisers are getting on.
I have been an avid user of AIM and CARG over on extended period as a corporate finance practitioner. This is an industry leading publication which provides on invaluable source of information on advisers and their clients, especially for those interested in the in the UK mid-cap space. I thoroughly recommend the use of this publication to all companies which are already listed or planning to list on one of the London markets, their respective advisers and more widely.
Thank you for this, it’s much appreciated. And yes, that is what we are using it for. We are specifically looking at brokers at the moment, but anything additional you can supply us with would be gratefully accepted. Do you have anything tailored towards specific industries? We are particularly keen to see who other housebuilders are using.
I love your service by the way. Such a useful document to have at my desk.
I would like to receive a copy of the current edition of the Corporate Advisers Guide. I found previous versions of the guide extremely useful, when I was CFO of MJ Gleeson plc, as part of my selection process for appointing Financial PR firms, Corporate Finance Advisers and Lawyers. I am expecting that the current edition will be just as useful as I help lead Tamdown through its next phase of growth.
I am impressed by your information-gathering skills! We have just been engaged by Bould Opportunities.
Yes, it was helpful to know what Strand Hanson’s standing within the AIM advisor arena is.
You may recall that we corresponded back in my LPA Group days, and you kindly sent me a copy of your AIM rankings guide. I’m now with Alaris which is unlisted but has intentions to list in the UK in the future, having been listed on the JSE until 2022 as a SA based business. We hope to re-domicile the group to the UK soon. As such I am familiarising the team with what we have available as resources and benchmarks in the UK. Would I be able to obtain a copy of the guide to assist?
